The purple and pink reception setting was lovely, pelamin was beautiful, the white wedding dress was gorgeous (some say i look like a princess! ;b) makeup was radiant & natural, food was excellent and the weather was oh sooo nice.....

OMG..its 4 days to go!!

Uhh..terasa mcm2 benda lagi xsettle. Agenda is full. Tomorrow afternoon, pick up my nikah outfit (sent for a simple beading last month). Afterwork, out with the girls to buy some *ehem ehem wink wink ;b*. Tuesday afterwork, going off to KLCC with frens from office for a hair-style change. Wednesday morning(wheee~ dah stat cuti!!), off to my old office in Cyber to personally-pass my wed invitation. Yes i do stay in contact with my old colleague and bosses there. Dat evening, try out and pick up my reception dress for both my side n his. Ohh harapnya smua ok.......amin~ And dat night nak pakai inai dah..tapi inai segara..mydin mari..hehehehhe

Anyway masih ada a few cards lagi dlm tangan xpass-pass..byk invite melalui mulut n facebook..haishh bila laaa aku nk pass kad-kad ni...huuhhuhuhu..

Anyway this square card cost me 80 cent per piece with his are in red.. ikut theme maaa....hehehehe. Hmm..org slalu xcukup-cukup kad, siap tambah order...but mine still byk laa..xtau nk kasik sape dah..huhu..they gave quite a number of extra free cards!

Ohh ohh, i went for a 3 hours spa treat today~~ hehe. @ Suria Embun in Presint 15, Putrajaya. Recommended as price are very reasonable. Took the promotion package which consist of body massage, body scrub and tangas. Then add-on the milk bath. Total all RM153 only! Overall treatments, service, place and ambience are good. (oh please do not compare with those high-class spa place..tmpt2 tu mmg tersgt lawa..sbb tu la u bayar mahallll) Cuma their bath-tub are a bit small for my size. I'm 160++cm. Tak dapat ku merendamkan seluruh tubuhku....dan treatment mandi dia pun agak kureng skett. You kena scrub dan mandi urself. Tapi overall masih direcommend :)

Lolipop for kiddies

I got the idea to give lolipop for kids from here. She bought it in a kedai borong makanan ringan di Rawang, dem cheap. 15 cent per loli! And paling aku suka memang sgt chomel the designs and they are so colourful. Budak-budak kompem lagi suka. ;) Tapi berkali-kali juga pk am i going all the way to Rawang to buy this? erkk jauh la Rawang itu. Selayang rumah encik tunang pun aku dah rasa jauh ini kan Rawang..huhu

Nak dijadikan rezeki aidiladha, last week kan cuti hari raya haji, maka ke kampung ibuku lah aku pulang. My auntie nak beli some sweets and candy for her son's wedding at a kedai borong makanan runcit, and bila Mama dearie saja ikot and tengok-tengok rupa-rupanya kedai ni pun ada jual the lolipop! wheeee~~ ;) And all this while pegi bazaar ramadhan tak perasan pun ada kedai borong makanan runcit dkat situ. Even aku pnah park betul-betul depan kedai tu before this!

Cuma design agak limited la, hanya star dan bulat dan price nya mahal skettt. 50 batang utk RM8. Maka jatuh 16 cent. Bila tengok label nya, nak tengok ingredient tapi tertengok distributor nya dan rupa-rupanya Seri Kembangan mariii..hahahahha..tu pekan umah aku tuu..ni kat Serdang ni. hahahaha.. Patut la dia charge lebih. Kos tol dan minyak ke Parit Buntar, Perak! Takpe la, sebab malas dah nak pk dan terlalu berkira maka kami pun beli lah 200 batang. ;)

Tag Terima Kasih

Tag terima kasihku sudah siap. Yeyy..now in the mist of 'menempek' those tags to the bekas. Semalam dah selesai menempek dalam 900 bekas (theres 400 bekas to go! chaiyo chaiyoo~). Mama dearie, lil sis and cousin Padil tolong. Terima kasih yaaa.. :)

Well actually i wanted to order the tags from Jentayu Design. Their designs are beautiful and price are also ok. But unfortunately they only have them in minimum size 1.5 inch. Saya mahu 1 inch lah. Kang keluar paksi pulak tag terima kasihku..huhu. So i've decided to just edit one of the design they have with only using Paint. Yes guys..u dun really need those fancy software to do it, just a simple Window's tool will do. Walaupun aku ni orang IT, tapi terasa leceh nak install and then relearn tools yang hebat2 tu. Alaa lagi pun nak edit benda simple je kan.

So ini adalah design tag terima kasih ku, cantik kan?? ;)

Tapi design bunga tu memang bukan aku yang buat yaa.. Harap mereka tidak marah kerana aku guna design mereka buat bekas door gift ku. ;b

Anyway ini pulak the original design. Aku tambah word 'Terima Kasih', tambah border, tuka kaler nama untuk ikot theme, tukar position tarikh ke bawah dan ubah skettt posisi bunga yang di bawah tu. Nampak cam simple je penukaran tu, tapi alahai agak leceh gak la.

Design asal

Well byk lagi design yg cantik-cantik. Sayang je xleh wat size yg aku nak. Tapi ok la gak, sekurang-kurangnya banyak aku berjimat dengan buat sendiri tag-tag ini. Aku guna kertas putih yang sederhana tebal(140gsm), which satu A4 tu boleh dapat 70 keping tag. Sekeping A4, 10 sen dan aku kira aku guna dalam 30% ink colour printer. Maka bila dikira-kira termasuk price ink, satu tag terima kasih ku hanya lah RM0.02! hehehehe..jimatnyaa. Kalau order satu 20 sen, tapi aku wat senirik 2 sen ja. Tapiiiii..please take note, kertas biase yaa bukan matte laminate or glossy or wat so ever kertas yg bermutu itu. Ala xpela, janji boleh jimat. ;)

A Super Duper Productive Week!

1. Catering - Checked!

We went for a food testing in kayu ara damansara sabtu lepas lepas. And bcoz the super iritating strimik buat hal that day, i didn't do my usual wikimapia search before going to an unfamiliar place. I just got the caterer's map which is erkk not helpful at all... thus we got sesat! huhu

From the map it says take the exit 23 on the Sprint highway, and all this while i thot that from Kerinci Link you can get to sprint highway..tapi dah sampai hujung kerinchi Link tak jumpa punn..uhhhh did i miss any turning?? Erhhh tension btol. Lil sis pulak not helping. Last sampai area one utama aku dah pening pala..waaa mana exit 23 sprint highway ni wehh?? But thankfully the caterer help us with the direction. Sampai pun!

Anyway I like their place. They have their own lot building and the presentation of the food testing was very clean n nice. Food was also reasonably good, except ayam dia a bit too pedas for me, takpa ini boleh direquest. Byk gak jenis boleh rasa sbb ada 2 kenduri that day. Price wise pulak setakat yang kami tau, sgt la murah! Dah la byk free item dia kasik tau. Mana nk dapat RM10.50 with 8 arabic canopy, hidangan pengantin with hiasan meja pengantin n backdrop, 4 dome for the VIPS, kek 3 tingkat and also the penanggah. Very good deal tau! Furthermore the contact person is so very helpful and pleasant. Any enquiries i just ym her ;) Mama dearie is so very relief, coz the most important thing dah settle. Alhamdulillah..just hope everything goes well nanti. Amin...

2. Tempah Baju nikah & Baju hantaran from FMIL - Checked!

That weekend also i went to see our usual tailor. Gave her my design for nikah outfit, the only problem on this is the beading where she always send to is too dem expensive..Hampir RM300 babe! Waduhh kopak akuu..So skarang aku tengah mencari beader yg charge lebih reasonable..Anyone has their contact number???

As for the baju for this kain, initially i was just intended for it to be a kurung moden, but when maria our tailor kira rupanya the kain is 5 meter. Maka the balance of the kain will be made as the top part of baju kebaya pendek whichhhh~ can be weared with the kurung modern's kain or even jeans..uh uhh i suka i suka!

3. Tempah Kad Kahwin - Half Checked coz kad nya belom depan mata lagik..huhu

We've chosen the design and already send the layout kad. Early november will follow up with them on the final layout for printing..End of November br leh collect the card. Erghh..lambat lagi..once dapat je kad kena la cepat-cepat tulis and send out for mr postman to deliver.

4. Sewa Baju Sanding for both side - Wuhuuu Checked!

On last saturday went to see julie (my side wedding boutique) to choose and try out the baju..As im gonna wear all white, seb ada baju putih baru buat..fuhh tak yah tempah..tidak kena add on money. The dress is simple and sweet tapi paling i suka bout this dress is the veil to go with it.. The only thing is the top part is lace and ohh so revealing. Encik tunang mmg dah kasi warning about this awal-awal dulu lagi.."no revealing dress please..i dun want awal-awal dah tanggung ur dosa." Erghh..tolong la i pun tamau sexy gitu. tak sesuai i bertudung okk.. So am going to have to find an inner baju for this and also a white tudung. Ke Jalan TAR la weekend ni yee. As for encik tunang's attire, dia dapat baju baru sbb takde size but with no charge la. ;)

As for baju bertandang, we went for a hunt in bangi. Sgt banyak butik-butik di bangi ni ok. Mr tunang jadi drebar n i turun and ask for the price. Kalau within our budget baru mr tunang turun keta. Tidak buang masa la dua-dua turun..i kering je masuk butik terus tanya sewa baju..hoho..tapi most sewa is RM700 an above. Mahalnyaaa! Honestly i almost gave up the search that evening.

But on our last stop, we both tetiba nak turun and tengok. Masuk butik tu tgk uih ramainye org, baju pun looks up to date n the owner look so stylish. Dlm hati rasa mcm mahal je butik ni..tapi once i ask the sewa, its only RM550! yeyyyy~ and they have bajus in dark red! wuhuuuuuuuuu~~

Seriously it was so dem easy and fast.. I masuk trus tanya sewa baju and bgtau our theme, then SA dia ckp ada baju baru tgh buat. Tak fully siap lagi, dia kata nak tambah manik lagi ni. I tengok oh cantek cantek dark red with gold lace and just like i want, something jubah-ish. Then i tanya guy's nya baju mcm mana pulak? And the owner tunjuk the baju, its a 3 suit blazer with songket border..ohhh suka2.. Although the baju tak fully siap lagi pun i trus booking! I rasa smua org dlm butik pun kagum tgk begitu senangnya bride ni! hehehehehehehe

5. Doorgift for guest and VIPS - Double checked..sgt puas hati! ;)

Mama dearie wants to add another 300 bekas for the doorgift. Maka we shot off to Nilai 3 yesterday morning. A bit worry what if the bekas all sold out?? Fortunately ada satu kedai clearing off those bekas..fuhh mmg last kopek betul laaa..murah by 10cent per bekas from the original price.(i think) Beside dat we got a really nice bedside table lamp for free..hehe

Oh yaa bakul for the VIPS osso sudah settle. Ini lah dia gamba bakul yg togel tanpa deconya lagikk ;)

Good deal betul. Be a member at ZC for RM10 a year, and you'll get a very good price of selected items. The bakul we've bought tu the original price is RM3.40 and mana-mana kedai pun jual almost the same price. But for ZC's member they're selling it at RM1.40 only!! 2ringgit off walawehhh~..hehehehehe. Super jimat! If smaller size sila tolak 20kupang yaa(dat is 20cent).. Anyway they opened a new ZC outlet yg sgt besar, almost big as Thank Q tapi a bit tesorok sket laa..their wedding stuffs and flowers are up to date.. especially their deco. Lawa-lawa laa..seb duit agak limited, tidak aku angkut dah a few bunga-bunga and decos! ;b

As for the deco for the bakul pun sudah dibeli. SA di one of the kedai(erkk i forgot the name of the shop!) is soooo helpful, dia nmpk kami tgh cari bunga utk tempek ke bakul tu, n i said kecik2 sgt bunga ni..then dia suggest letak riben blakang bunga kecik tuu..wahh sungguh good idea dan jimat!! ;b

Arini riben2 sudah habis dipotong, sekarang tengah mempusing2 kan riben cam dia ajar by the SA..once finish nak lekat the bunga to the riben pulak..thenn baru lekat to the bakul. Fuhh seb VIP doorgift jek, mampus aku if its the guest door gift! 1300 bekas babeee!

Lega ini pun sudah half settle. Tinggal barang dlm je. Mama dearie nk letak the guest's bekas telur, cookies and chocolate which she will personally made herself (ibu sy mmg kerjanya wat coklat tau! heh)

6. HIV Test - Alahaii of coz la both of us are non-reactive! Kami tidak melakukan sebarang aktiviti berisiko yaa.. ;)

So lucky mr fiance's fren(kawan kepada kawan sbnrnya) working at Klinik Kesihatan Jinjang. Thats why u need networking people..heh. A week early already made appointment with dat guy and bila sampai je tak payah pun beratur panjang utk amek nombor dan borang. Semua dia dah ready utk kami. hehe. So everything was smooth dan senang. Thank god! ..hihihi..

Dan rupanya the test valid for 6 month, ingatkan 3 bulan.. Apa-apa pun sungguh lega, now we can start working on the borang. Tok kadi dah ckp bile dah settle borang laki, leh la jumpa dia. Oh ya mama dearie osso sudah jumpa tok kadi, maka sudah book time n date for the nikah. 1 Jan 2010 ya peeps..mark your calender!

Perghhhhhh panjangnya entry ni..haha told you im going to go all out before end of this month! Banyak gle dh settle babes and im super duper lega! Wheeeeeeee~~~ \(^o^)/

Kain Ohh Kain..

Went to Jalan TAR today to buy mama dearie n lil sis kain for all the 3 events. But bcoz on the way walking from where we've parked to jakel or nagoya, we hopped into a few shops to see some ready made baju. And tak sempat pun sampai ke destinasi utama kami.....lil sis dah angkut satu baju purple arge dlm RM185! Dan pusing punya pusing kedai-kedai kat sana, kami mengambil konklusi to just beli baju siap! hahaha.. apa daa~

Sekarangkan theres a lot of fashion ready made baju with really beautiful beading dat are actually very nice. Price are OK osso, around RM100 to RM350. Lagi lawa beading lagi mahal la kan. Simple beading but still beautiful and kemas are around RM100 to RM200. So bila pk balik, tempah baju kurung moden with linning pun dh almost RM200 dkat tailor yg kitorg slalu tempah, tambah harga kain lagi, tambah beading lagi..fuhh akhirnya mungkin cecah RM350 ke RM400. Erkk.. dan sila la darab dengan jumlah events dan kepala..tu tak kira lagi my cousin's wedding in november and december.. Aduiiii kayap buat baju je kang!

Anyway sampai juga ke destinasi, which is Jakel coz nak beli kain for pengapit. Sekejap je coz i only bought a light purple kain for mr fiance's pengapit. Tu pun xtau la murah ke, ok ke, tp i like the purple colour la, the kain felt soft and comfortable and ikot kate SA nya tak panas. Bantai laa..huhu. As for my pengapit will have to come with her. Kang aku beli kain yg dia tak suka camne?? Honestly la i am NOT at all good in this. Sangat tak reti beli kain dan tempah. Most of our bajus are ready made and biasenya below RM100. Kadang-kadang je terlebih skettt.. Every year my raya is very sederhana. Slalu balik kampung which is in Parit Buntar, Perak then baru beli baju raya kat sana. Theres a lot of cheap ready made baju raya there dan kami sememangnya adalah pelanggan tetap kedai Mei Chong dan kedai Haji Sani di sana. ;b

Oh yaa..lupa pulak i osso bought linning for FMIL kain, which will be one of my hantaran. This also have to be send for tempah. And im still not sure what design suits this kain and me. Kan dah kata tak reti la bab-bab kain ni..huhuhuhu.

Any suggestion? Kainnya agak kasar dan keras dan agak jarang. Tak tau org panggil jenis apa kain ini. Its orange in colour n have a lot of silver dust. Sungguh shinning!

Oh ya one more thing before headed to Jalan TAR, we went to RINS suzana's boutique. They are having this really good promotion. 3 baju L & P (from 30 collections) for a price of only RM500 only! Tapi malangnya the baju i like is either too small for me..waaaa i so~~~ need to lose my weight and shape up..4 kg jadi la! or its not in my theme colour.. *sighed~* Anyway tomorrow is their last day of promotion, tu pun di extand tauu.. Sapa nak, p la tgk ye..tak rugi pun tengokk..they are near the Giant Ulu Kelang.

Waduh asal malas sgt nk update ni ek? plus sekarang ngah syok pulak men pet society facebook..dah la mafia wars pun aku layan..hehe. Preparation and surveying dlm bulan pose sgt la slow. Dan hari ni bile aku tgk ticker waaaa lagi 3 bulan bebb!! And now aku besarkan so lebih terang dan jelas the countdown! Preparation dah la sgt byk lagik and aku dah mula rasa 'kalut'. Betul org cakap start prepare early kalau tak you'll be kelam kabut and stressed out towards the big day. Encik tunang pun dah terkena tempias nya.. huhuhu.. Choriiii abg cyg~~

Im going to go all full swing now. Semua mesti selesai by end of November..all the door gifts, house decorations, barang-barang and deco for bilik pengantin, hal baju-baju, confirm all the bookings, documents, hiv test and selebihnya laaa. December tinggal shopping for balance of the hantaran and ring (takpe ke beli last minute??!) which we are waiting for the year end sale and also the balance preparation which mmg kena tunggu the last minute.

Wow last post 2nd august? Lamenyaa blog ni mendiamkan diri. hehe.. Dah lebih dari 2 minggu rupanya. Iyee~ ini adalah result dari campuran of malas+super busy. Tapi not busy with the preparation laa.. itu mmg super slow..huhuhu

Ramadhan is here again, sgt dapat rasakan hari-hari weekendku akan duduk di rumah dan mengadap pc je (tapi strimik sgt ngongeng, sungguh sakit jiwa!). Aktiviti keluar di waktu weekend perlu dihadkan termasuk berdating.. my mum xberapa suka. :(

Progress a bit slow this week. Well actually there are NONE. hoho. I wanted to start doing the tagging for the doorgift, but checked and confirmed dat the printer which i stored under my bed is not working, haiyoo..sudah kong plak. Kena la beli baru..huhu. But luckily my lil sis wanna share the cost as she's also wanting to use the printer later. So might be shopping for a printer soon. Kenapa tak p beli kat PC fair jek?? Sbb aku malas nk kuar, smlm pun dah stuck in the horrible jem caused by this, (tu pun aku lari masuk smart tunnel which was also jem altho its weekend!) Hence today i'm so lazy to drive all the way to KLCC. Oh Sunday, i luv my Sunday. Masa utk bergolek2 di atas katil sambil main Mafia Wars di facebook! hoohohoohho

Then i osso sooo wanted to start doing the pomander ball, but most of the wedding shop i went does not have the styrofoam ball. Darn..i dun want to go all the way to Romantika, Plaza Alam Sentral! Jauh lah. (knew this from here and here..sila baca, sgt byk info for DIY pomander!) I've also found some more link for this, but will share once i got all the stuff ready first. ;)

Bekas for door gift - checked!

Yeyy~ im fully satisfied with the bekas. Penat btol pusing-pusing nilai 3 tadi. Actually benda lain yg dicari tapi benda lain pulak yang berkenan di hati. Hehehehhehe. Tak jadi beli the initial bekas that i was looking for. 1st reason price are almost the same RM1 per piece, 2nd reason the choices of colours are more (i bought purple, turqoise, yellow, green, brown, red n black), 3rd reason n its the most important thing, I dun need to deco the bekas sbb mmg dh chantekk! So tak jadi la nk wat camni (sila klik for detail).

Tapi maybe just for the VIPs, i think i'll need to put a ribbon. Bagi nampak spesel sket. 42 pieces je, skett so xla penat. Dah beli pun the ribbon, payah gak nk cari this design. Tak byk kedai jual, most probably dh habis stok kot. I got it for RM2.50. Panjang mana? Aku pun xsure, dia xtulis. Belasah je beli sbb cam murah jek. Heh..

Nway 40 are for his side n the other 2 for the pengapits. Ada lagi nk kasi for VIPs ni. Bakul for the VIPs pun baru disurvey tadi. Might put 3 items in the bakul. Maka kena la p nilai 3 lg nanti.. Haaa..aku nk tunjuk u girls one thing i bought there.. a comforter set dat includes of coz the comforter also known as quilt, 1 queen size bedsheet, 4 pillow cover(ye EMPAT!) and 1 boster cover. Yang tak tahan tu is the design. Chantek kan??! Design LV gituu~.. sangat suka!! ;b

Oh yaa berapa ye utk set comforter ini??? Cuba lah teka....

My future-mother-in-law already bought the bekas n deco for doorgifts a month ago, dan sudah juga beli a few bekas for hantaran n semlm pulak encik tunang ckp FMIL came back yesterday with a bag of kain for their family. They already booked the hall n most probably booked the catering as well....itu majlis bertandang! Bukan byk pun kena pekesah.

Dan aku???! huwaaaaa....smua belom lagik! Dah la aku ada 2 majlis, nikah dan sanding babee. huhuhuhu.. Rasa 5 bulan tu cam lame tp bila blog hopping, tgk most of brides to be yg majlisnye lebih kurang time aku, sudah lebih-lebih~ maju dari aku. Erghh..I need to get moving! But one thing is this evening akan pergi cari katil utk bilik pengantin with mama dearie. Harap jumpe yg berkenan di hati dan masih dlm budget (siapa??......ibuku!) agagagaggaa.. iye mama dearie going to pay, yela katil tu pun akan dibiarkan di rumah utk kegunaan masa hadapan ;)

Anyway kami sudah finalize our wedding theme. fuhh lega. Now baru betul-betul boleh merancang.

My side, would be purple. One of my best buddy(fir!) ckp dia mmg leh agak i'm gonna choose purple..mostly baju aku pun kaler purple! hehehehe. Suka la unggu. Tapi...the wedding dress saya mahu puteh. But i might add up maybe a purple ribbon on the waist or some purple detailing. Well we'll see how it goes...

On his side pulak, its gonna be red as in merah hati/maroon, not myvi or man united red ye! Erghh..org gelap cam aku xsesuai merah terang, merah gelap ok la..boleh diterima. ;)

Food Testing

Went for food testing today. The boutique i've booked for my wedding pelamin n baju is also offering catering services. Well actually the whole package. They called it the wedding planner package. Its consist of almost~ everything! Catering, dais, wedding dresses, makeup, photography, wedding cake, door gift, wedding card, hantaran deco and the wedding deco as well including the room deco, house n even the brides main table. But i'm not gonna take all. I'm selecting only those that i need to get from others, yg lain akan ku usahakan senirik. Kita perlu jimat beb jimattt..

Anyway rasa segan gak to gate crash other people's wedding. haha teringat cite wedding crasher. Tadi pun buat muka selamber je.hehe. Lagi pun the boutique owner yg suruh dtg, katenye they cooked extra. Food was ok but paling i suka is the deco. Lawa betul the pelamins, yes ada 2 pelamin on the stage. Jimat betul kan bila wat 2 wedding sekali. Luv their stage deco, the main table n the pintu gerbang. Pintu gerbang dia len sket, not the typical arch u see. Back to the catering thingy, we won't finalize anything yet. Catering is something you can't rush. Its the most important part of the wedding coz heyy~ you're going to fork out at least RM10K(at leastt!) for the food dan org datang jauh2 ke majlis kite, so the food better be gooood!

Am looking forward for the pameran pengantin in Midvalley this 7 -9 August. Last time we went to the pameran in Ampang Point pun dh byk catering services, here lagi laa.. It said to be the biggest pameran pengantin. Well we'll see. Hope we can get as many food testing there and make a final decision. Then i can cross one more thing in my wedding checklist!

Wedding Photographer - pencarian bermula...

Straight forward i'll say budget for our wedding photography is RM2000. And this is for all event. Nikah+Sanding+Tandang. Betul encik tunang ckp, cukup sekadar ada gamba utk kenangan tak perlu over spending. We have to remember life after wedding is much more important and at dat time definately will use more money. Ingat saving mesti masih perlu ada!

Tapi kan.....before this i was a bitttttt degil(a bitt jek!), i was eyeing for photo packages dats rm1k++ for a single event. Kalau 3 event?? haha u do the math! Tapi ku sedar bila encik tunang kata 'tak pegi australia laa..kita kalau amek photog mahal2~~' hehehehe. Encik tunang~~.. kalau amek 2k pun rasa kita masih saket nk p australia utk honeymoon. ;b xpa2..we'll try our best to minimize spending..saya mau ke australiaa! (tmpt yg byk kes H1N1 skarang..hahahahaha..saja cari naya!)

Anyway back to the topic, we are in the midst of searching for photo packages. Syarat kami senang, affordable iaitu bawah rm2000, design simple tamau serabut dan shot yg lawa tp i dun need reaction dat goes 'OMG lawa nyaaa!' *nganga mulut*. Cukup sekadar 'Hmm..lawa. Pandai dia amek gamba'. Photog itu juga tak perlu ada 'nama'. Yelaaa mana la ada photographer bernama bleh offer package RM2000 utk 3 event! Celah gigi jee 2k tuu utk dia. Yang ada nama skett pun masih mahal. Maka we are left with those that are not well known but are still gud with their work. Biasa orang2 ini tidak buat fulltime. Biasanyaaa la part time yang mencari duit tambahan. Mari kami menambahkan rezeki mereka pulak.

We've sent email inquiries and set up some appointment already. Meeting up to view their work is a must for me. Yelaa kita nk keluar rm2K, *tskk* bukan sket..byk tu plus its for our wedding. Perlu rasa puas hati dengan pilihan betul tak?

Utk video plak, ada sapa2 nk amek kan video free utk kami?? Tak yah editting. Tak yah letak lagu. Aku hanye nak part nikah, interview kawan2, time arak, time bersanding dan time potong kek. Aku mc harini..demam dan sakit tekak. Badan dah kebah dan boring asek tdo jek. Terasa nk blogging plak..hehehe. Topic for today is door gift.

Pening pale dok pk nk wat ape utk doorgift. Pk bajet lagik..tu pun seb baik mama dearie kate dia nk tolong sapot skali. huhu..lap u mama..siapakah diriku tanpa ibu terchenta..hihihihi

Couz ckp dia nmpk the bekas im looking for in nilai 3..RM1 sebekas. Tu pun tak menhunt lagi. Entah ada kedai yg offer lebih murah. Seposen dua posen murah pun jadi la. Nak beli mungkin 700 ke 1000. Wahh banyaknyaa! Kalau camni kena stat membeli dah. Gile byk bekas aku kena ikat ribbon and then letak tagging. Tagging pulak ntah ikot hati cam nak design n print senirik jek..huhu larat kah daku???!

Hantaran Perfume

Suka suka suka..saya sangat suka. hehehehhehe

When people asked me wat perfume i wanna get for my hantaran. I'll straight away say I want Christian Dior J'adore! Yaaa i know its been a while already(sgt!!), the perfume was launched back in 1999..but the scent tu xboleh lawan la..Every perfume lovers should have a bottle of this.

Actually back in April or May we saw a gift set of the perfume with a makeup box. Perfume tu toksah ckp la mmg dah lame sgt aim dr dahulu kala but the box tu aduhai......lawa teramat. N bila nk cari blk dah xde plak....*sighed*

Yela takkan ritu nk beli dh. We haven't got engaged yet at dat time n now its almost impossible to get j'adore's gift set. Punye round with mr fiance, almost all the shopping complex pun tarak! huhuhuhhuhu

So when i saw dat Dior was having a promotion in south court of Midvalley, aduh mana boleh lepas. I straight away asked the promoter, and he said 'sorry la dikk gift set dior ni ada time valentine, mother's day and christmas jeeee..' dia sambung lagi 'tapi~.......kami ada promotion skarang ni, kalau u beli perfume dior kann, u tambah skettttt je kami kasik sekali ngan skincare kit, body lotion, small lipstick, a makeup purse ngan free make over. Harga dia RM*** je tau. Rugi kalau tak amek'. (The price can't be disclosed due tu nanti org ckp belagak pulak. hehe)

I pandang encik tunang dengan muka sedeh coz its out of our budget. Dia pandang balik 'Beli jela..good deal tu, try byk perfume pun asek nak jadore jee. Beli jelaaa' hihihihihi.. u dunno how my face lighted up. Sangat berseri-seri u know~~.. J'adore j'adore! ;b

Anyway for him lak, we bought Paco Rabanne 1 Million. Its one of the top seller perfume. Byk counter perfume we went xde stock for the 100ml. There's only the 50ml bottle. Luckily Jusco baru amek stock baru, ape lagi sambar la satu! hehehehe..the smell is sweetly sexy. Luv it on him! And the bottle sungguh lawa, sgt sesuai as hantaran. Nampak sungguh mahal.....tapi mmg boleh tahan jugak laa harganye ;)

Their hantaran designs are always so beautiful. Initially have discussed with mama dearie to have fresh roses as the hantaran deco. But colour have yet confirm..yaaaa i know until now i have neither decided a hantaran theme nor a wedding theme! lil sis n my mum dah bising! huhuhuhu

Anyway after seeing this, rasa macam ishh lawa la pulak the carnations! Its beautiful, cheaper, last longer and sooo different from the typical hantaran deco we all see. Yela asek2 roses, carnation pun lawa apaaa.. hmm will forward this to mama dearie and see wats her opinion.

Oh yaaa..we've already start buying the stuffs already! hehehhe..2 weekend dah pegi 4 shopping complex; The garden, Midvalley, One Utama & Parkson at The Mall. Gals noted dat it is sales now! Mari pegi shopping~ hehehe

Anyway we managed to settle hantaran watches for him n me, shoes for him and cosmetic set for me. Ehemm kami tak jadi beli couple watch. Can't find a nice couple watch design laa. But we bought watches from the same brand. Jadi la kan..ada gak connectivity atau kesamaan kat situ. hehehe..apa2 pun rasa sungguh productive this 2 weekend! Dan suka suka suka saya berpuas hati dengan pembelian kami! ;)

DIY Hand Bouquet

Julie from wedding galore offered to do my engagement hand bouquet coz my mini pelamin was also using fresh flowers. But I said NO padahal org tu nk kasi free~. Yelaa i was so looking forward to DIY my own hand bouquet maka saya menolak FOC service itu. hohoho

The fresh flowers i bought came from Cameron Highland. There are small not like the China mari roses but they smells soooo nice! China roses don't smell good, even some dun even have any smell! I bought these at Pasar Kajang from an indian lady for RM1 per stalk. Cheap ait? Tips: Sila order the flowers dulu takut nanti takde. When i came to pick them up the lady said my white roses were the last. Cameron Highland white roses dah xde for dat day and the following day!! Fiuhhhh........*urut dada*

Anyway here are the things needed:

1. 10 Pink Roses & 10 Off White Roses

2. Peach colour Netting

3. White satin ribbon

4. Dawai utk lilit the flowers

5. A pair of scissors

6. Garden's glove ( Ini sangat penting if you wanna avoid the ouchh ouchhhhh ;) I bought at a hardware store near the Pasar Kajang @ RM2 a pair)

To sum it up it was a very nice ceremony..all went well. Food was great, the mini pelamin ohh sungguh beautipooool, the guest sungguh ramai! n encik tunang ckp saya nampak lawa! Ohh saya sudah menjadi tunangan orang rupenye..hehehehehehe...

It feel so good and relief that i am one more step closer in becoming his officially.. n altho 1 week had past i am still in a super happy mode. ;b

Anyway the hantaran was beautiful. Altho it did buat me pening pale as to the last minute things were change..refer sini utk updated version. Apa2 pun a huge thank you to mama dearie and all the contributer. Sungguh untung encik tunang dpt hantaran best2!

- Candies for the kiddies ( Tapi rasa bapak dan mak budak pun nak gak ni. Sedap kan..heh)
Bought 100 units of Chuppa Chups with assorted flavour for RM44 and 45 packets of original flavour Apollo for RM7.50 at a kedai borong in Jln H.S Lee.

Oh i've just found out from mama dearie that tok, mak ngah, pak ngah and rezal ada memberi sumbangan utk kenduri this saturday. Alhamdulillah.. terima kasih banyak2...saya sgt sangat~ terharu.......................

Went to kajang yesterday(Sunday) to finalize the detail for my 'mini pelamin'. Huh dah macam bukan mini jek..tinggi 8 kaki wehhh..pendek2 sgt..its either 5 feet or 8 feet, and i am 5 feet 4'! Also confirmed with her dat they will come to the house to set up the 'mini pelamin' on friday nite and for makeup, the 'mak andam' will be coming at 10am on saturday. Ishh org tak panggil mak andam dah skarang ni..now they are called makeup artist! Not because they have makeup any artist/celebs before. They are called makeup artist as in artistry where a lot of blending and shading of colours..will go into details in next post.

On the hantaran part, i've bought something really cheap at the kedai RM1.99 in kajang. Am going to use 2 to put jellies (made by mama dearie) (*updated 27052009 - sudah tak jadi guna utk jelly..sila baca cerita di bawah) and the 3rd one as a base for the ring holder.. yes i bought 3 of these:

Only RM 1.99 per piece, sebesar tapak tangan! Lawa tapi sgt murahh kan?? ohh kami mmg cheapskate! hehehehe..

Anyway my uncle and auntie came by utk hantar carpets for this saturday. Banyak gak borrow from them. They offered ohh untung betol ada sdara mara yg caring dan tak lokek membantu! They even going to sponsor for the chocolate hantaran! alhamdulillah.....

Heres the final update on hantaran:

1. Cincin tunang for him (bought at bausch k. and engraved with our initial, next time cincin kawin nk letak name penuh la..bleh tak? hehe)
2. Kain nikah (bought at one of the shop in semua house, refer entry ini)

9. Jelly in assorted flavour and colours (sponsor and made by mama dearie * updated 27052009 - Hantaran no 9 using jelly tak jadi. When i asked mama wat she wants to replace she said ada laa.. I tanye..back to our plan dat is biscuits/cookies ke? She said not sure..now i pening pale. Sbb pening maka malas nk pk dah..the last hantaran asek betukar2..apa nak letak letak jelaaaa..janji ada no 9! hoho *updated 07062009 - my uncle tok ndak bought a very special kurma from here! hohoho)

Additional: Would be the tepak sireh..its the Perak's adat as a pembuka bicara. Perlu ada kata mama, sbb kita keturunan dari sana. Walaupun my IC is 14..iya saya dilahirkan di Kuala Lumpur. Hari ni ibunda ajak p jusco equine park..nak cari gak a comforter set for the room. We have to make the main room presentable also as i will be makeup there and people(close frens n relatives) might want to come n see me.

Anyway the curtains are sponsored by lil sis..emm tapi second hand la sbb dia nk beli new curtains for her room maka di'turun' kan the curtains to us..haha..xpe jadi laa..yang penting jangan membazir kan?

The curtains are in cream n brown color, hence pencarian comforter set perlu gitu2 juga la.. n kebetulan pula jusco is having happy hour sale on bedsheet & comforter set..awesome betol! wuhuuuuuu~! (tapi hari ni last day la..hehe)

Door Gift & Hantaran Cupcake Part 3

2 things done today..reconfirm on order for the door gift and the hantaran cupcake. Suka nya hati saya kedua-duanya dah settle! ;)

We ordered quite a big amount of mini muffin or is it cupcake?? Ntah la I am confuse which is which..i think there are mini cupcakes but the girl i contacted keep on saying 'akak nak muffin tu bile?' 'akak kalau sy tambah sket utk cost transportation muffin tu bleh tak?' 'akak, tak payah la bayar deposit utk muffin tu, xpe nanti time makcik akak collect muffin2 tu baru bayar eh'....

Em..tak pe la i ikot saja si penjual nye defination..heh.. Anyway we ordered the mini muffin all the way from Penang, or should i say Kedah? The very sweet girl i contacted is a student in USM Penang and she is doing the dealing/business. Her sister whos in Kedah is doing the baking. We've bought their mini muffin once during my sis's convo in USM last year. Its dem cheap! Imagine 100 pieces of assorted colour and flavour mini muffins are only RM13!! Cheap aite?? Tu pun the girl said I'm the last customer she's charging RM0.13 per piece. Now its already RM0.15. hehe..Alhamdulillah lucky me.

We're going to give them in a box of 4 mini muffin to the guest on the engagement day... Oh and mummy dearest kate nanti dia nak tepek cam heart shape sugar deco atas tiap2 mini muffin tu. Xpe askar ramai, nanti cousin2 ku akan menjadi mangsa utk menepek2 dan membox kan the mini muffin! Itu la gunanya sedara mara kan?? Lagipun bantu membantukan amalan mulia..banyak pahalanya. hehehehehehe.. ;b

And on the hantaran cupcake. Yeyyy, at last i have confirmed and also made the payment! These are also gonna be in mini sizes as there are so adorably cute. I've ordered 49 pieces of mini choc cuppies with buttercream topping and they are also so cheap! Its only gonna cost me(my sis actually..heh) RM55 only! Tak sabar to pick it up nanti..hehe..

Yeyy i've found the cupcake that i want!!

Aritu my couz bought home a sample of wondermilk's cupcake..its buttercream topping with vanilla flavour cupcake. The top part was quite too sweet for me but most probably that is what u should expect with buttercream. Butt....now i think cupcake taste better with that topping laa. Rasa macam xbest pulak atas keras..buttercream sgt lembut! Hence saya tak jadi amek fondant..hehehe

Oh tapi i bukan nak amek wondermilk. Altho they are tasty and beautiful anddd they made me change my mind on the topping........im gonna order from someone else..suke sgt design2 n kaler2 dia..plus very reasonable price! Tonight will finalize with my sis and then i'll call the person up! Ohh kenapa kena tanye little sister dulu?? Sebabbb~~ dia yang nk sponsor! hehehehhe..

Ohhh Im so glad the first step is over. Saspen siotttt..coz it was the first time his parents meeting my family..and that includes my grandma and my closes realitives! Damn I was really nervous..tak leh dok diam tauu! jap g dapur jap g depan..hishh..n bile time nk sarung cincin, jadi malu2 kucing tol.

Aritu borak2 with him on our wedding colour theme(belum tunang tapi dah berangan cite2 pasal kawin..hehe) Awal2 lagi he booked red as in the colour of his fav football team Manchester United!(he is a huge~ MU fan!) I said to him 'ok2..tapi dark red like the red color roses kan??' Cepat2 dia bangkang 'nope!' he wants red as in my~~ myvi red! tsskkk..tu merah mak ngah! I sooo tak sesuai in dat red dah la nk red as the main kalerr! Takpe2..u berangan la dulu in ur Man U red, but when the time comes u will come to your senses and sedar dat we dark skin people is soooo tak sesuai with dat red, hence nanti dia akan mengikut kata2 ku utk pilih white as the main color seperti ini..hehehehe..

ok2..at least he has his colour pick kan, but as for my side i am still blur. Not sure which colour..am only sure the engagement would be in pink and cream. And actually the flower hand bouquet on the top right side was the inspiration. Lawa kan bouquet tuuu..tak sabar pulak nk cari sendiri the flowers and design myself! ;)

Hantaran Cupcake

Talking about hantaran again..haish there are a few things have yet to be done. One of it would be ordering a box of cupcakes..am still not sure to get the one with buttercream topping or the fondant. Fondant would look more beautiful coz of all the things you can design with it plus it wont get smushed (this is not even a word! but i like saying smushh..smush smush..hehe)

nway i think buttercream would taste nicer and its not all sugary as fondant, hence you wont feel dat guilty having a bite or two or three or four or five..haha lantak la..i hate counting calories!

I've found a few contacts who made beautiful n yummy cupcakes..am going to call them tomorrow, takut gak if its fully book coz my engagement tu is begining of school holiday..tau tau saje la..school holiday=kenduri!

Orchids for wedding theme

Aren't they classy and elegant? I so lurve orchid hence it will be the main deco for my engagement hantaran. Mummy dearie would be the designer and i fully trust her sense of style and taste. 'mama wat cantek cantekk tauu!' ;)

Anyway we bought the orchids today in nilai 3 for a very good price. Ohh i so prefer going to nilai 3 then to kl especially jalan tar! It takes 20 to 30 minits from Serdang and theres sooo many shop to choose for, plus you can drive your car to the front of the shop! No need to walk in the hot sun, lagi2 towards the big day ni kena la jadi puteri lilin. hehehe..

Ok let shows some pictures..the alas dulang is off white-cream so the orchid would be something simillar to this. Pink purplish orchid..baru naik. lawakan?? hehe perasan lagik! ;b

Hunt of the kain nikah & Meet the parent

Both done today! yeyy~ :)

Got the kain nikah at semua house today and dats after going in n out from shop to shop. Theres so many choices sampai pening pale nak pilih. Plus its easier coz they have a lot of wedding packages from 'ok dats cheap' or 'good its in my budget' or 'hmm ok i still can afford dat...i think' or 'ouchh too out of budget but gosh its beautiful!' or~~ 'hell nooo dats totally out of the question!' And this packages include 2m lace + 4m satin(for ladies) + 4 1/2 m satin(for man).

After reenergize over lunch at A&W, we went to euro moda and obviously the price there is too dem expensive! But luckily there was a very nice girl there suggest us to go to semua house or madras.(just opposite semua house) And indeed we went and on the third stop, dats in semua house we have found the one! The one that will make me look suci n bersih on our special n important day! Its a simple white lace with light beading and labuci. Cantek cantekk, I lurve it! ;) Plus the lady there gave an extra 1 or 2 meter of kain for mr farid. Yes my man need it, he is about 180m and hes not the slim size.

Then, the next agenda..Meeting his parents? hah it wasnt dat bad at all..it was actually consider good. haha apa daa why was i nervous at the first place xtau la. lol! But i did felt a bit uncomfortable coz he didnt inform his parent dat im coming over. nk suprise kunun..xpela follow je..its his parents. luckily there were around. Kang sia2 je rasa nervous smlm..haha

Anyway alhamdulillah everything went well and insyaAllah they'll be coming over to my house on 1st may for 'bertandang' or 'berkenalan' or some people would define it as 'merisik'. But it wont be dat formal la, just datang2, diskusi2, minum2 petang then pulang. Ok la tu right? Hanya untuk si ibu bertemu besan2 nya..berkenalan hi hi then bye bye la. heh..

i've been together with him for almost 6 years and i have never ever ever meet his parents. yes believe it or not...n tomorrow would be the day..gosh i am nervous!

plus dunno if i have a nice blouse. i wanna wear pants but i need something that would say 'hi-look-at-me-i-am-a-good-girl-very decent-n-lovely!' n i sooo wanna say 'dun worry auntie, uncle your son will be in good hands!' huhuhu..dun wanna be a hypocrite but everybody says you have too! darn i need a 'sopan' blouse...

hence i definately have to dig deep into my closet..ok people..let the search begin....!
